Coffee Table

AKIDA is an original KEPI design, developed with a custom mold made specifically for this piece. It’s cast as a single, seamless form, soft and rounded like a candy, yet strong enough to feel like a true collectible object in the space.
The name comes from akide şekeri, one of the most familiar symbols of Turkish culture: simple, glossy, and timeless. It also connects to the Arabic word aqīda , meaning belief or conviction something you hold onto. AKIDA brings these two meanings together: sweetness with substance, playfulness with intention.
Instead of glass, AKIDA is made in crystal, using a special material produced for us by Paşabahçe (NUDE series crystal). That choice gives the piece a richer clarity, a satisfying weight, and a calmer, more refined way of catching and spreading light. Designed for both indoor and outdoor use, AKIDA is timeless by nature, one mold, one pour, one piece.

KEPI x MUSTAFA KAYA

With over a decade dedicated to the exploration of a single material, Mustafa Kaya is a designer whom practice exists at the intersection of sculpture and furniture. His work is driven by an in-depth research into glass, pushing the boundaries of the material through experimental fusing and hot-forming techniques that challenge conventional design approaches. By embracing transparency, color variations, texture, and intentionally controlled imperfections, he creates distinctive surfaces that define his visual language. Kaya’s practice is rooted in a continuous pursuit of new formal expressions and technical possibilities, positioning material experimentation at the core of his design philosophy.
